Help us help peruvian children

The Cordillera Foundation

Like most charitable organizations, the Cordillera Foundation’s existence grew out of an obvious and urgent need for assistance. The founding members of the Foundation, having visited Peru on several occasions, returned home with the same impressions: countless children in need of proper housing, medical care and adequate nutrition. Before long, the Foundation was started, in an effort to bring assistance directly to those most in need.

The Cordillera Foundation was created in 2004 by Yvon Lefebvre, a successful Canadian businessman, native of the city of Montreal. The foundation is a non-profit organization whose objective is to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of Peruvian children, with the hope that they will have a better future. The children who benefit from the Foundation’s projects live in extreme poverty.

The Foundation began building homes and to maximize construction efforts, it later continued with the construction of schools.

Each project is carefully selected according to criteria of feasibility, quality and effectiveness, which means that each donation made to the foundation is assigned to a very specific action.  In general, the construction of a home, a school, a public bathroom or a dining room.
